All-rounders. Getting skilled not only in the entrepreneurial setting. This is what we do.

SPINscript

It was his passion for writing that drove Sarabjit, a 5th Batch Intern of the NOC program to initiate a competition for the writers of SPIN. The competition kicked off in early October and was after months of intense judging that the winner was decided. The judge for this round was April Anderson from the CWiC programme at UPenn. Each entry was of high quality, as illustrated by Sarabjit, who said, “I can only imagine how difficult this decision would have been for April. All entries were highly
impressive and are worthy of publication (a part of me is glad it wasn't
me who had to pick the best).”

The winning script was submitted by Julia Koh, and is proudly reproduced in this issue.

L-O-V-E     ~the things I love about being here~

‘L’ is for the walk that’s known as Locust
Set lovingly through the heart of Penn
Where friends would stop and gather
And squirrels run pitter-patter
‘O’ is for the Opportunities I see
The conferences, talks and shindigs to be
MBAs, professors, colleagues and bosses
That’s why I came here, for Penn’s laurels
‘V’ is for the very, very much traveling
That being in Philadelphia is enabling
Driving up the East and flying to the West
Is making me a happy, tizzy mass
‘E’ is for the Everything in my life
Since I left Singapore and opened my mind
To face my fears and hopefully to find
The woman, dreamer and entrepreneur - - that’s i *.
