Dear Readers,
Welcome to the first issue of the SPIN e-mag! Another first! As we go along in the year, you will discover many firsts for SPIN. It is going to be a really exciting year indeed. Apart from our website, this e-mag will give you the all the nitty-gritty details of happenings of SPIN.
As the editor of the first publication of TrailBlazer, my team and I have the privilege to design and write the whole mag from scratch. It has been months of hard work and we are all so proud of it.
Why the name “TrailBlazer”? Because we led the way! And we seek to create an impact in whatever we do, leaving a trail for the next batch to follow along and challenging them to do the same. We do it with enthusiasm—all fired up and ready to go. The imagery of a race scene is illustrative of who we are - energetic and full of drive. Indeed, you will find this recurring theme being emphasized by our various sections:
Flag off!
The very first section of the mag. (boy, am I excited!). The race has begun. Check out our newly elected SPIN President’s address and learn more about SPIN and our mission.
Limelight
The champion of the race steals the limelight on the podium. In SPIN, we believe that it is the people who determine the success of an organization—which explains why they are the highlight of each issue!
Jump Start
Running out of battery? Restart with an electric jolt! Entrepreneurial events are definitely a good refresher. Check out our website calendar and “Updates” section in each issue to find out more about our events!
Hot Lap
Our best laps and best timings are constantly improving. This section covers all the other activities that SPIN members are involved in.
Pit Stop
Traveling is one of our passions, and there is simply no better way to satisfy our hunger for adventure than to explore what makes up the realms of the United States! Our experiences are incredibly fantastic—varied and yet very, very unique as well.
Eat My Dust
Take it easy. *smiles* Featuring entrepreneurs who have been there and done that, sharing tips with us that we can pick up and learn from. Deliberately placed in the last section as our e-Mag feature.
